昨天英文課上了「The rock cycle 」
是我一直很想紀錄檔主題
其實大娜很愛石頭
無論上山下海
甚至走在路上
她都會用雷達掃射地上的石頭
記得有次去澳洲登山
我們走了10公里的山路
沿途閃閃發亮的黑雲母碎片
讓她完全忘卻雙腿的疲累
📌Three types of rocks
Geologists divide the rocks that make up Earth's crust into three groups
1️⃣igneous rock(火成岩）
👉Granite（花崗岩）and basalt （玄武岩）
👉They start their lives as melted rock
👉underground magma and lava
which comes out of volcanoes 🌋
2️⃣sedimentary rock（沉積岩）
👉Limestone（石灰岩）and sandstone（砂岩）
👉The layers in a big piece of rock when they have been squashed down on the sea bed
👉You can see the different pieces of sediment in the limestone.
3️⃣metamorphic rock（變質岩）
👉marble(大理石）
👉When sedimentary or igneous rocks are dragged deep into Earth's crustby moving plates,they can get hot and pressure,changing into new rock type
📌The rock cycle
👉Rocks all come from the same original material,which moves round in a big cycle.
👉If the rocks are taken so deep that they melt,they are back where they started as magma,then the rock cycle starts again.
